I am fairly happy with my pole. A breakdown:
+ It is one of the longest poles on the market so I really appreciate the reach.
- Partly because of that reach it is pretty heavy compared to other poles like Notch and Silky.
+the locking mechanisms have knobs and spring pins, making it unlikely to slide around, especially when sawing.
-double the hardware adds the weight.
-my biggest issue with the pole is the bottom spring pin locking mechanism has a hard time locking down, sometimes not working at all. The spring pin on the mechanism seems to be locked up much of the time, and sometimes I can manually push it down with a finger. Its like the interior poles don't line up well and the pin can't get through each hole to hold it in place. I just spend too much time fiddling with it. Maybe I am missing something about how to use it properly but there wasn't any info that came with the pole to tell me otherwise.
+I like how you can get an aggressive saw head and pruner to fit this pole, and they come on and off well.
-The little pin at the top to down lock down the different heads is definitely going to get lost at some point...
